Pumper - Responds with a minimum of three personnel and has the ability to pump water at the scene of a fire. It carries firefighting equipment and hoses, breathing apparatus and water supply hoses. These units are also used to respond to Medical Emergencies as First Responders and carry Full Advanced Life Support Equipment and Paramedics.

Truck - Is a Ladder truck which responds with a minimum of two personnel. These vehicles have a large ladder or telescoping boom on top of the vehicle that can reach from 65 feet to over 100 feet in height. These units also have the ability to pump water at the scene of a fire. They carry a full complement of ground ladders and other equipment for firefighting and rescue. These units are also used to respond to Medical Emergencies as First Responders and carry Full Advanced Life Support Equipment and Paramedics.

Squad - This vehicle responds with a minimum of three personnel. The vehicle carries a wide variety of equipment used at the scene of fires and specialized rescue calls including the "Jaws of Life" for motor vehicle extrication. Many of these vehicles have the ability to pump water at the scene of a fire. These units are also used to respond to Medical Emergencies as First Responders and carry Full Advanced Life Support Equipment and Paramedics.

Rescue - This vehicle responds with a minimum of two personnel with one member always being a Paramedic. These vehicles respond to a variety of calls including; Fires, Medical Emergencies and Motor Vehicle Accidents. The Rescue carries Full Advanced Life Support Equipment.

Haz-Mat - This vehicle responds with a minimum of 3 personnel. The unit carries specialized equipment for Hazardous Materials Incidents. The equipment carried has the ability to monitor the air and test for chemical hazards. The personnel assigned to this unit have specialized training and are Hazardous Materials Technicians. The unit also carries specialized chemical protective suites, breathing apparatus and materials to stop leaks of hazardous substances from various containers, tanks and vehicles transporting hazardous substances.

DC - District Chief responds to all Structure Fires and large incidents including multiple injury Motor Vehicle Accidents and Hazardous Materials calls. The District Chief normally assumes command of the scene upon arrival and directs all Fire and Rescue operations.
